City on the Move

   Raymondville is beginning on the right track  for laying the plans for the future.The Raymondville Commissioners have tentatively agreed to a one year contract with the Center of Operations & Community Service (CoServe) The cost of this contract is $74,800 and will be paid with funds from the City's $0.01 sales tax for economic development.

    With this contract the City will receive help with the development and implementation of a comprehensive plan for the economic development of the community. This is a great start to get the city positioned to bring in the much needed new industries and businesses that will provide our citizen with jobs. I would like to say THANKS to those people that were involved in making this investment for the future growth of our town.
